2025 Bay Area “Get Free” Hip Hop Dance Festival (July 11-13)
Get Free is a hip hop dance festival, July 11-13, 2025, rooted in the artistry of freestyling, experimental battling, healing through community practices, and love for Black social dance and our Bay Area street community. This festival was formerly a weeklong and free, but it looks like things have changed for 2025.

With Black social dances and house dance culture at its core, the Get Free Festival is back for its sixth year! Co-presented by Embodiment Project, Be Movement Collective and Dance Mission Theater, festival events include a film screening, panels, an experimental battle, the Rebearth House Dance Party and a live performance showcase.
