The Last 2023 Holiday Variety Show & Party (Pacifica)

If you have not had enough holiday fun come on out one more time for a big celebration of musical variety. Drop your plans of late Xmas consumerism and join us for this all day event. We are looking forward to nine hours of different styles of music, solo, duets, full bands. Come out early for a mix of music and humor featuring THE SLOW POISONER and his one of a kind musical tales (see his music video below) Second in the lineup is the one and only JOHNNY LONELY with his UNHAPPY HOUR. If your feeling down with the holiday blues then lighten your load of pain from someone even more depressed than you. Enjoy his gloomy and dispiriting repertoire including his favorite suicidal Christmas melodies and featuring his partner in crime the Bay Area legend Joshua Brody on the keys. Followed by Austin based and former Bay Area performer JEAN CAFFEINE and her band. Jean was a member of the Bay Area’s first all women punk rock band The Urge. She will be singing songs and telling stories of her early days in SF punk rock scene of the late ’70’s when The Urge played with The Avengers and Dead Kennedy’s at The Temple Beautiful and Mab among other spaces. Followed by a set of acoustic art rock songs by XtinaM, vocalist, guitarist and bass player formerly and currently with Chick Jagger, The Seagulls, and The Minks among others. Then get ready to pogo the night away with memories of the early days of punk rock with the new band The LOUIE LOUIES who will be doing punk covers. Next on the bill is also a new band created by the ever busy producer, musician, dj Roxie Roller and his tribute to Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, BLACK CROW KING. Then back to the late seventies and beyond with TEMPLE BEAUTIFUL BAND also covering songs from some ot the best West Coast punk rock bands of the era plus other dark and theatrical originals. The penultimate band of the evening is the very original Avant Garde instrumental duo TV 1984 mixing live instruments with searing backing tracks. Ending the day with CHARM WORLD
