2023 “Mosaic Festival” Silicon Valley w/ Ballet, Opera, Break Dancing & Bollywood (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1)

A FESTIVAL FOR ALL – Join Mosaic America and School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza for our third annual Mosaic Festival Silicon Valley! The Mosaic Festival is a free and inclusive event, powered by community.

Experience the mosaic of Silicon Valley cultures through vibrant intercultural music and dance performances, curated workshops, healing movement, visual art, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks over 12 hours of programming across two days and 6 stages. Attend one or both days. All ages welcome and audience participation is encouraged – come as you are!

Featured artists include Arte Flamenco de San Jose, Boffa Bofarata Ballet featuring Mohammed Bangoura, Tonalehqueh, Ensamble Folclorico Colibri, Folk Dance Federation of CA, North, Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles, Gurdeep Hira – Dhol drummer, House of Inanna, Jeffrey Fung, Bay Area Tai Chi, Sokoly Children’s Group, Khalilah Ramirez, Kuumba, Junior Taiko Performance Ensemble, Sonia Barron – Luna Fest, Los Gatos Ballet, Mao Pelo Pe Capoeira, The New Ballet, Mike Fair, Nubian Soul, Opera San Jose, Playboyz Inc., The Red Thistle Dancers, San Jose Jazz, San Jose School Of Highland Dancing, Seibu Ryu San Jose, Sergey Prokushkin/ReroRera, Simorgh Dance Collective, Starrz Dance Academy, Viet Steps, Xpressions Dance, and Zaza Korinteli.

To reduce traffic and support active transportation to the festival, we are partnering with Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition to offer free, monitored bike parking at the venue. Leave your car at home and skip any parking or access issues! A guided group bike ride will also be hosted from the Berryessa BART station so you can arrive in comfort and connect with fellow event-goers along the way.
