Event Details

As the holiday season approaches, anticipation grows for the vibrant tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau. Wine enthusiasts and cultural connoisseurs can look forward to a festive celebration brimming with wine tastings, gourmet dining, and cinematic delights. Collaborating local establishments and communities are gathering to pay homage to this annual tradition, infusing the Bay Area with the spirit of French joie de vivre.
This year, the Beaujolais Nouveau celebration promises a dynamic fusion of wine, cinema, and French gastronomy, curated by Alliance Française Silicon Valley, renowned as the Bay Area’s premier French cultural center. For the first time, Silicon Valley will host a unique Beaujolais Nouveau event intertwined with Alliance Française’s movie club. Set amidst the backdrop of French cinema, this event heralds the highly anticipated debut of the 2024 Beaujolais Nouveau, offering a night of indulgence for wine enthusiasts and film aficionados.
An Experience of Wine, Film, and French Cuisine
Guests at this special soirée will relish the renowned Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau millésime 2024, graciously provided by Quintessential wine merchant, accompanied by a delectable buffet of authentic French fare thoughtfully curated by Frenchery, the leading online French grocery store.
In tribute to the late iconic French actor Alain Delon, attendees will be treated to a screening of “Plein Soleil” (also known as Purple Noon), featuring Delon in one of his most iconic roles. This inclusive film selection, with English subtitles for all guests, pays homage to Delon, enriching the event with cultural significance by marrying French cinema excellence with the beloved tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Whether you are a wine enthusiast, a lover of French culture, or simply seeking a festive experience, AF Silicon Valley’s Beaujolais Nouveau celebration welcomes all. Join us for an evening of wine, cinema, and the enchanting charm of French tradition.
Mark your calendars for this exceptional event and celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau in the heart of Silicon Valley. Let’s raise a glass to community, culture, and the warmth of French hospitality.
