The Meritage Resort and Spa

One of Wine Country’s most beloved holiday traditions is just around the corner, with the return of The Meritage Resort and Spa’s Merry Meritage. With the largest outdoor ice skating rink in Napa, live music, festive foods, spectacular live skating performances and plenty of holiday magic, the resort’s unmatched annual tree lighting ceremony will officially inaugurate the start of the season in the Valley on Saturday, November 23, 2024. A dazzling illumination centered around the property’s 40-foot tree (complete with a falling “snow” finale!) captures the joyous spirit of the most wonderful time of the year and is a “can’t miss” event. Admission is free for the local community and resort guests alike with online RSVP. Complimentary parking and shuttle service available. Detailed event highlights include live performances by the Napa School of Music, American Canyon Chamber Choir, and Music by Mercy & The Heartbeats, a “Merry Meritage On Ice” skating performance by Redwood Ice Theatre Company, family activities such as face painting, letters to Santa, Santa’s Reading Corner and train rides, along with appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Claus & their cheerful elves themselves, who will be accompanied by their friends Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Moana and Tiana. The Meritage knows that the holidays are truly about giving and giving back, so attendees are also invited to bring a toy to donate to Toys For Tots and pick up locally made gifts including handmade jewelry, candles, chocolate and more from the Artisan Market.
