2026 San Francisco Juneteenth Parade & Block Parties
San Francisco’s Juneteenth Parade returns for its fourth annual celebration in 2026, honoring Black freedom, heritage, achievement, and community with a citywide gathering in the heart of downtown SF.

Market Street & 2nd Street, San Francisco
FREE with RSVPPresented by Livable City and Burge LLC Production, San Francisco’s flagship Juneteenth parade brings together performances, music, art, community organizations, and cultural celebrations that highlight Black vibrancy, unity, and resilience.
Organizers say the parade aims to “engage, inspire, and highlight unifying Black vibrancy” while continuing to build on years of neighborhood-based planning and open streets activations led alongside Fillmore- and Bayview-based organizers.
As of May 13, 2026, additional details are still to be announced, but here’s a look at what happened in 2025 to give an idea of what to expect:
2025 Highlights
- A flagship Juneteenth parade along Market Street
- More than a dozen downtown SF block parties
- Live music, dancing, games, giveaways, and family-friendly activities
- Cultural performances and community activations
- Community groups, local businesses, and performers celebrating Black culture citywide
In 2025, the parade traveled from Market & Spear to 8th Street, while block parties featured line dancing, island music, dominoes, kids’ activities, giveaways, photo backdrops, and more throughout downtown.
Parade organizers also note that attendees are welcome to watch from anywhere along the route, with lawn chairs permitted in viewing areas.
