The Fillmore Jazz Festival returns in 2026 over the July 4 weekend, Saturday and Sunday, July 4–5, bringing live jazz back to the heart of San Francisco’s historic Fillmore District. Join us for a weekend of music, community, and celebration.
The West Coast’s largest free jazz festival draws more than 50,000 attendees each year and takes over 12 blocks of Fillmore Street from Jackson to Eddy. New for 2026, the festival adds three main stages and features performances by 25+ local and nationally renowned artists across multiple music venues.

The Fillmore Jazz Festival proudly presents three stages for 2026, each honoring a legendary artist whose music helped define jazz and whose legacy continues to inspire musicians around the world. This year’s festival embraces a classic spirit, celebrating the tradition, innovation, and enduring influence of jazz’s greatest voices.
From intimate vocal artistry to revolutionary improvisation, these artists represent the heart of jazz — past, present, and future — brought to life along the historic Fillmore corridor.

- Main Outdoor Stages: The three main stages: California Street – Tony Bennett Stage; Sutter Street – Miles Davis Stage; Eddy Street – John Coltrane Stage
- Five Venues: Fillmore Street, from Jackson to Eddy, with stages at California, Sutter, and Eddy streets, and two indoor venues at Calvary Presbyterian Church and Jones Memorial United
Methodist Church.- Activities: Live music, more than 140 arts and crags booths, community organizations, 25 food vendors and face painting for the kids.
