Learn to salsa this October in San Francisco — a step-by-step, four-week Monday series. No partner or experience needed, plus a dance party every week.
Salsa dancing is one of those things people put off for years — and then wish they’d started sooner. This is your month. Over four progressive Mondays, go from your first steps to confidently dancing socially. Each week builds on the last, with simple, repeatable steps, friendly people, and partner rotation so everyone dances.
DATES AND LOCATION
Mondays, October 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2026, from 6:30–11:30 PM.
SalsaCrazy Mondays at Neck of the Woods
406 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94118 (5th Avenue and Clement, in the Richmond District).
Ages 21+ with ID. One series ticket covers all four Mondays and the after-class dance party each week.
NIGHTLY SCHEDULE
6:30 PM — Doors open. Arrive early to grab a drink, hear great music, and beat the line.
7:00 PM — Beginning Salsa: your very first steps, taught step by step.
7:55 PM — Intermediate Salsa.
9:00 PM — Social dancing and the salsa dance party, included with class tickets.
11:30 PM — Event ends.
This is a popular night; expect crowds and possible lines, so plan to arrive around 6:30 PM.

• At-the-door four-week series plus dance parties: $160, only if space remains.
• October 5 single-night class plus dancing: $40 online.
• October 5 dancing only: $10 plus $1.49 fee online, after 8:50 PM; no classes included.
• Drop-in door prices listed: one class plus dancing $50; two classes plus dancing $60; dancing only after 9 PM $20.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are the beginner classes really for beginners?
Yes. Classes start with your very first step. No dance experience is needed.
Do I need a partner?
No. Come solo or with friends. Partners rotate so everyone gets to dance.
What if I think I can’t dance?
The teaching method breaks salsa into simple, repeatable steps. These classes are designed for people starting from scratch.
Can I drop in on any Monday?
Yes, drop-ins are welcome. The series offers the best value and keeps you progressing from week to week.
Is there dancing after class?
Yes. A social dance party starts at 9 PM every week and is included with your class ticket.
Is there a bar?
Yes. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
What about parking and the neighborhood?
The Eventbrite listing notes free parking at the venue. The Richmond neighborhood around 5th Avenue and Clement has restaurants and cafés, so come early and make a night of it.
