Loosely translated from Hawaiian, “Kahuna Kupuna” means “Big Chief Wise Elder” which is a good name for the only amateur surf contest in the world that is specifically designed for older surfers age 40 and over.

This year’s contest will be the 22nd Annual Kahuna Kupuna. It will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 7:00 AM until 6:30 PM at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, CA. Awards for top finishers will be presented starting at 5:30pm at the contest site on the beach.
