From the streets to the studio, San Francisco’s Central Market Arts take center stage for 24 days of dance performances, performance art, arts walks, theater and live music. A special two-day celebration takes place on October 7th and 8th with all day events.

Hallidie Plaza Performances
4 – 7 p.m. to celebrate Hallidie Plaza’s transformation. Emcee Val Diamond, who starred in Beach Blanket Babylon for more than 30 years, will host a program that includes aerial dancers from Flyaway Productions, lion dancers and drummers from Leung’s White Crane, mariachis from Nueva Generacion– along with salsa instructors from Vima Dance Studio who will give complimentary lessons to the music of Los Compas.
