Event Details
Submitted by the Event Organizer
Join community members from across the Bay Area for a peaceful, family-friendly gathering at Ocean Beach on Saturday, March 28, where participants will create a large-scale human banner designed to be photographed by drone. Organizers describe the event as part of a nationwide day of action and emphasize a commitment to nonviolent participation.
What began in 2025 as a single day of action has grown into a broader movement taking place in communities across the country. On March 28, participants will gather on the sand to form a new piece of human art together. The exact banner design and message theme will be announced closer to the event.
Organizers ask attendees to arrive by 11am to ensure everyone is in place for drone photography scheduled for noon sharp. The event is expected to wrap up around 1pm.
A core principle behind all “No Kings” events is a commitment to nonviolent action. Participants are encouraged to act lawfully, help de-escalate potential conflicts, and not bring weapons of any kind.
