Everyone needs a safe, sanctioned place to have fun and express themselves. That’s what San Francisco’s annual Urban Youth Arts Festival is all about. Especially if the fun you want to have is making graffiti art without Karens furrowing their brows.
Precita Eyes Muralists, an urban arts non-profit, takes over Precita Park for the day. The largest production yet, they will build three large 8’x20′ walls reserved for selected youth organizations, four 8’x16′ walls, and 6 mini-walls to create art on. We will also have a Community wall where there will be traditional brush painting. There will be live music, dancers and kids’ art activities
Saturday, July 15, 2022 1-5 p.m., Precita Park, 348 Precita Ave., S.F., Free. precitaeyes.org
