On Saturday, July 16, 2022, we invite you to join Youth Speaks and our sibling organization First Exposures for our community-wide celebration as we return to our roots in the Mission District and officially open the doors to our brand new space with a party, Youth Speaks style.
The celebration will feature a program including speakers, DJ Emelle, live performances from Yosimar Reyes, the Brave New Voices Team, MCO Champion, a vaccination drive, free food and more!
In 2020, First Exposures and Youth Speaks launched a capital campaign to provide a programmatic home for our youth and staff in the Mission District. Our goal was to have a dedicated space for self-expression through art and storytelling. Thanks to the support of individuals and organizations like you, we did it, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
