Event Details

The 27th United Nations Association Film Festsival welcomes you to attend Session 19, free film screenings at the Stanford University, Green Library Hohback Hall Presentation Palace

Session 19 at the 27th UNAFF begins with the world premiere of the short film, AS I WITNESS, directed by Stanford student Pam Martinez.

It follows with IF I COULD STAY (SI PUDIERA QUARDAME), directed by Theo Rigby and Florencia Krochik. This documentary is a heart-wrenching and inspiring story of two undocumented Latinx mothers, Jeanette and Ingrid, who courageously enter local churches to evade deportation and protect their families.

Session 19 concludes with PAIN AND PEACE, directed by Mark Feijó, where a survivor of a brutal hate crime embarks on a profound journey to explore the underlying causes of hatred and the depths of forgiveness.

Stay afterwards for a free panel at 7pm, “Promotion of Universal Respect.”
