28th Annual Assyrian Food Festival in San Jose (Aug. 20-21)

This two-day event will feature traditional Assyrian food, live music, dancing, and entertainment; a wine bar; the original Samovar Alley, featuring exotic teas, coffee, and pastries; arts, crafts, and exhibits; various vendors; and a Kidzone.  We also have a $10 Raffle for a chance to win the grand prize of $10,000 and more prizes!

The Annual Assyrian Food Festival is an opportunity to showcase Assyrian food, traditions and educate the community about the Assyrian heritage as well as to preserve and to continue passing on Assyrian cultural traditions to the next generation.  If you enjoy trying authentic food, music, and dance, make plans to attend the festival! You can mingle and learn about the people whose ancestral homeland is known in history as the “cradle of civilization.”
