Chinatown CDC is holding its second annual Chinatown Safety Fair from noon to 4 pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Portsmouth Square to encourage residents to be proactive in fire safety and disaster preparedness through workshops, community booths, games and prizes.
The fair is organized in partnership with 14 other community organizations, businesses and city departments.
Families, seniors, and youth throughout Chinatown and North Beach crowd the park as participating organizations share information and lead games about emergency safety and preparedness. Multilingual workshops are also provided to the public on a variety of topics.
