Bayanihan is calling us home! 🇵đź‡âś¨
We’re so proud to invite you to the 2nd Annual Filipino Island Fest in Alameda this October as we celebrate Filipino American History Month with even more heart, culture, and connection.
At the core of this celebration is Bayanihan—the beautiful Filipino tradition of communal unity and collective effort. It’s the spirit of showing up for one another, lifting each other up, and building something greater together.
Last year sparked a powerful sense of solidarity. This year, we’re keeping that fire alive by deepening that spirit in all that we do. We’re not just throwing a festival—we’re building bridges and connecting cultures, honoring our roots, and celebrating what it means to rise together as one komunidad.
To the 500,000-strong Filipino community in the Bay Area—and to all our allies—let’s show the world what true unity looks like. Sponsors, vendors, performers, families, and friends—come through. Let’s co-create a celebration that’s rooted in authenticity, lifted by joy, and carried forward by all of us.
