Event Details

The time has come to have some Gnocco Fritto again at the 2nd edition of Italian Street Food Fest – this time in charming Alameda. Come join them for a day full of authentic Italian street food, live music, and fun.

They have created this event with two priorities in mind: let people discover an authentic concept of Italian food (its public, most informal version) and give back to the community by partnering with a local nonprofit – Food Shift – to reduce wasted food, feed the hungry, create jobs, combat climate change, and cultivate more sustainable communities.

Food
After the praise and delighted reviews from last year, this time the menu will be all around Gnocco Fritto provided by their experts from Gnocco Bella. They will bring the best out of it with many new toppings, including some exotic ones that will blow your mind.

Charity
They are proud to partner with and donate all event proceeds to Food Shift, an Alameda-based nonprofit that works collaboratively with communities, businesses and governments to develop sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and alleviate hunger.

Live Music & Fun
An Italian street food fest would not be complete without music, so we will also be featuring live performances by local artists throughout the entire event.

The event will be at the corner of West Ranger and Pan Am Way in Alameda, right next to Spirits Alley with its lineup of local breweries, wineries, and distilleries: come for an afternoon of delicious food and drinks and stunning views of the City. Alameda used to host a United States Navy Naval Air Station until 1997 and today you can still visit the USS Hornet Museum and explore some other unique vestiges that you wouldn’t expect to see in the Bay.
