Enjoy a full day celebrating Japanese American Culture and Heritage at the 33rd Annual Nikkei Matsuri. The day begins with the pulsating beat of taiko drummers to welcome a full day of traditional foods, arts and crafts (Japanese themed from throughout the Western United States and Hawaii), cultural exhibits (ikebana, calligraphy, bonsai, doll displays, etc) and performing arts (taiko, classical dance, ukulele jams, music) on two stages.
- Other events that day include a Run/Walk, a Health Fair and a Childrens Craft Fair.
- It is something for all ages-right in the heart of San Jose Japantown: one of three surviving Japantowns in the United States.
Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
