Cable Car Caroling is a joyous occasion filled with fun caroling to spread the holiday spirit. Bringing cheer through traditional carols and other holiday songs to seniors at assisted living centers, skilled nursing facilities, and individual homes throughout San Francisco. Enjoy food, fun, and festivities while bringing meaningful holiday cheer to the lives of seniors.

This annual fundraising event raised more than $100,000 in 2018, Cable Car Caroling funds go to support IOA’s Friendship Line, the nation’s only accredited (American Association of Suicidology) 24-hour toll-free hotline for seniors and adults living with disabilities. The Friendship Line is both a crisis intervention hotline and a warm line of non-urgent calls.
