Can you handle tasting 26 dishes at 26 restaurants in 26 hours all in alphabetical order?
To help promote their new 2010 San Francisco Foodie Guide, the publishers of the “San Francisco A-Z” (pronounced “ay to zed”.. it’s a British company after all) are hosting their third “foodie crawl” starting tonight at 8pm.
But the catch is that all of the dishes and restaurants are in alphabetical order (2009’s event began with Asparagus and Avocado Wraps at Absinthe and ended 26 hours later with Zucchini Nut Bread at Zuni Cafe) .
2010 Update! We’ve just found out the first restaurant will be the newly opened Aubert Park in Hayes Valley – Chef Aster Ricks’ new British fusion bistro which garnered Yelp’s second ever six star rating!

A unique foodie crawl across San Francisco: 26 dishes at 26 restaurants in 26 hours – all in alphabetical order

How To Attend: Instructions taken directly from A-Z’s website:
- Admission is free, Seating is limited and by invitation only. 21+ and over, please.
- Invitation pick-up location will become available on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 and will be sent out via Twitter / Facebook / Four Square .
- Invitations may be picked up in-person only at the counter at the above location
– Ask for the black envelope at the front counter. It will contain a map and navigation instructions.
