Join Ridge Trail volunteers for the Fifth Annual Super Stroll on Super Bowl Sunday. The Ridge Trail’s Super Stroll provides an invigorating and intriguing hiking opportunity for those who either love to watch or avoid the Super Bowl. Sunday, Feb 2nd, 9:30am – exact meeting location will be sent to all those who register.
The Route
This 13.4 mile hike will follow the Ridge Trail as it wanders its beautiful way up Twin Peaks and across San Francisco from Lake Merced to the Golden Gate Bridge. You will have the option of hiking the entire route or bailing out at any point along the way where MUNI or ride-share connections can be made back to BART, your home, or your car.
All hikers should either download maps (sent at registration) from or download the OuterSpatial app to their smart phone. You will have the option of hiking at your own pace, or stay with the group that will be hiking at a moderate pace.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy shoes for hiking
- Day pack
- 1 – 2 liters of water
- Snacks / lunch
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Jacket
- Cash for bus or train
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Please note that the Super Stroll will follow the regulations of the Super Bowl and will not be cancelled because of rain.
