40 years of Punk Dance Night & $2 Drinks | Cat Club

Join resident DJs Damon, Mr Washington, Omar, and Dangerous Dan, plus special guest David J (Bauhaus – Love & Rockets) as they pay tribute to 40 years of Punk featuring all the best cuts by The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Richard Hell, The Saints, The Dead Boys, Buzzcocks, The Dead Kennedys and more along with the rest of the best of the ’80s and more on two dance floors.

Vale from RE Search/researchpubs.com will have a vending table up and running selling many original zines and books from the era; come down and listen to, read about, and take home some history of their favorite musical time.

DJs Dangerous Dan & guest DJ Omar (Leisure, Popscene) will spin the classic underground dark ’80s mix in back on two huge video screens for your video viewing pleasure, along with more punk and alternative than usual. DJs Damon & Steve play the rock, pop and one hit wonders all night in the front room. Plus, see the totally cool and fun visual reel by Vis a Vis in the front room.

Free before 9:30 pm; $7 after

Get there early for $2 well drinks and $5 Jack Daniels for the first hour. There will be $4 Coors Light and $5 Newcastle all night. Show your check in at the bar and get $1 off drinks after 10 pm.
