Ridiculed for his enormous ears, Dumbo, a young circus elephant, is assisted by Timothy Mouse to achieve his full potential. Timothy believes that Dumbo could become the world’s first and only flying elephant.

One of the warmest, sweetest, and most adorable animated Disney films ever made, this simple story contains beautiful moments of powerful emotion that are still enormously effective 75 years after the film’s release.

Animation fans revere the film for its famous “Pink Elephant” sequence: a quintessential work of surreal art from the Disney studio. Incredibly innovative for its time, even now this sequence holds up against anything in the modern digital age. And even though you might not realize it when you view the film, the title character never utters a single word of dialogue. It’s a further testimonial to the genius of the Disney animators, who were able to bring so much life and emotion to the characters without the use of voice.
