$5 Classic Movie Night | Paramount Theatre

Experience the great films of Hollywood’s Golden Era in one of America’s finest Art Deco movie palaces.

With over 3,000 seats and a meticulously-restored interior, the Paramount offers a true “Movie Palace” experience straight out of the 1930s – with period newsreels, cartoons, previews, live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ and the audience participation spinning wheel game of “Dec-O-Win.”

Saturday Night Fever (1977) | $5 Classic Movie Night | Paramount Theatre

Tony Manero (John Travolta) lives for Saturday nights at the local disco, where he’s king of the club, thanks to his dancing skills. When he meets Stephanie (Karen Lynn Gomey), Tony begins to see a future with actual goals to achieve – the first being to win the local club’s dance competition.

It’s the dance sequences and club scenes which energize the film and, whether you like disco music or not, the Bee Gees’ soundtrack pumps up these scenes with maximum energy. The choreography is electric and hypnotic and Travolta owns this era-defining film.
