This 1913 vintage movie theater in San Francisco’s Richmond district at 2200 Clement (23rd and Clement) takes the audience back in time to have a unique comedy experience. The 4 Star Theater was renovated in early 2019 with luxury seats that allows for modern comfort in an antique setting. Plus there’s beer, wine and food served.

The 1913 Vintage 4-Star hosts touring comedians from all over the place along with local bay area favorites. The theater only holds 120 seats, remodeled down from 160 seats to provide a comfortable entertainment experience with wine, beer, food, and of course popcorn served. Comedians hailing from New York to California and beyond, and always surprise special guests.

Emily Van Dyke
Born and raised in Logansport, Indiana, a town with one high school and a basketball hoop in every driveway, Emily Van Dyke has made a 15-years-and-counting home of San Francisco. She started stand-up in 2011 after being laid off from her job as an art teacher and she is now a local favorite at Cobbs, Punch Line and bars and basements around the Bay Area. Emily recently released her debut album, “Feeling Myself,” which you should listen to immediately.
Ed Black
Causing riots and starting pandemonium, Ed Black is known for putting on a fun and witty show. Combining his goofy and spontaneous personality with crowd interactions he leaves everyone in tears. He often performs at Cobb’s Comedy Club, Punch Line SF, Comedy House NOLA,
Tony Sparks
Tony has been performing stand-up comedy since the dawn of the joke. He’s opened for many famous comics long before they were famous. He’s written for many comics both now on television and others presenting working the comedy circuit. He’s a major fixture in the San Francisco comedy scene.
Dan Aguinaga
Dan Aguinaga is a Brazilian-American comedian from New York City. He lives in San Francisco with his patient wife and two precocious daughters, whom he often talks about on stage with tight writing and a silly yet sincere stage presence. You can catch him performing in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition in September.
Deeptanshu Jah
Deeptanshu Jha is a brown immigrant standup comedian. He grew up in New Delhi, India and moved to San Francisco in 2015. You can see him perform all over the bay area and the roast battle league. Being the only engineer in a family of doctors he grew up being a joke.
Jonathan Lyte
Jonathan Lyte is a comedian from the Bay Area, and has done comedy all through California from the bay to L.A.. He has performed at your favorite comedy clubs. From Punchline SF, Cobbs, Alameda comedy club, and Tommy T’s.
