Comedy at the 4 Star continues their Comedy Summer Series on Saturday, June 29th!

This 1913 vintage movie theater in San Francisco’s Richmond district at 2200 Clement (23rd and Clement) takes the audience back in time to have a unique comedy experience. The 4 Star Theater was renovated in early 2019 with luxury seats that allows for modern comfort in an antique setting. Plus there’s beer, wine and food served.

The 1913 Vintage 4-Star hosts touring comedians from all over the place along with local bay area favorites. The theater only holds 120 seats, remodeled down from 160 seats to provide a comfortable entertainment experience with wine, beer, food, and of course popcorn served. Comedians hailing from New York to California and beyond, and always surprise special guests.

Bryant Hicks

Bryant Hicks is one of the funniest comedians in the Bay and a member of the Hella Funny comedy collective. Not only a premier comedian, but also one of the Bay’s best showrunners. With performances all over the bay area especially at the Hella Funny comedy shows at Cobb’s and a regular at the PunchlineSF. A very notable credit including opening for Dave Chappelle, is just another reason why you don’t wanna miss the laugh-a-second comedy style of Bryant Hicks.

Terrell “Big T” Butler

Terrell “Big-T” Butler is a Stand Up Comedian born and raised in Oakland California. His original comedy style is all about having fun. A graduate of Academy Of Art University. Big-T’s draws comedy influences from the likes of Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and Robert Townsand.

JD Arandia

JD Arandia is a Bay Area based comic who performs regularly all over the state, has opened for Felipe Esparza, the host of The Voice Party podcast and star of the film Unhealthy Comedian on Amazon Prime.

Jesus Cruz

From an early age Jesus Cruz was labeled the class clown at school and grew up to be the o-worker who “should do stand up comedy”. In 2014 Jesus took a leap of faith and tried his first open mic at Tommy T’s Comedy Club in Pleasanton, California placing 1st place out of 30 aspiring comedians which led him to regular gigs at the club.cSince then, he has opened for national touring headliners like Sammy Obeid (Tommy T’s), Edwin San Juan (V Theater, Las Vegas), Alfred Robles (SF Punchline) and performed at the inaugural 2023 ComedyFestLA at The Standup Comedy Club with Aida Rodriguez, Alonzo Bodden and Paul Rodriguez.

Kavita Singh

Kavita Singh is a standup comedian from New York! Her comedy can be described as a vagina monologue, and she runs a dope women and queer comedy show in Berkeley called “Bitchfest”

Sebastian Wong

“Sebastian Wong is a stand-up comedian from The San Francisco Bay Area and performs all over the country. When Sebastian’s not on stage, you can find him picking the olives off combination pizzas and arguing with his chihuahua.”

Emily Rudolph

Emily Rudolph is a standout comedian based in San Francisco, known for her sharp wit and relatable humor. She is a frequent performer at Alameda Comedy Club, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and House of Comedy AZ.
