South San Francisco Main Library | 840 West Orange Ave. South San Francisco, CA

UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 concerns, this event has been canceled.

Did you know San Bruno Mountain is one of the largest open public spaces in urban America? This “Mountain in the City” wouldn’t be the public park it is today without the dedicated efforts of local communities.

Ariel Cherbowsky Corkidi, Director of San Bruno Mountain Watch, will use historical photographs and artifacts from the past 50 years to highlight the critical moments of the grassroots movement to save San Bruno Mountain.

The visual presentation will share exciting projects taking place on the mountain in the current day to protect its unique environment and engage the public.

Please note, this event was submitted to Funcheap by the promoter, but no link was provided.
