The Mountain View Art & Wine Festival, presented by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, is back and better than ever! Save the date for a weekend filled with art, music, delicious food and drinks, and unforgettable experiences on September 7-8, 2024!

It’s no secret. Festival fans around the Bay Area know the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival is the crème de la crème on the Bay Area festival scene.​

Voted “Best Festival in the South Bay” multiple times by readers of Metro and still hitting on all cylinders better than ever, this year’s spectacular 52nd annual festival, September 7-8, promises to be a “Festival Like No Other” more than ever.

What is Mountain View Art and Wine Festival?

An authentic and moveable feast for the senses. The cool, vibrant, multicultural Castro Street vibe. It’s Silicon Valley’s World-Class Art, Music & Food Festival, voted Best Festival by Metro readership for more than a decade.

The festival is a spectacularly fun celebration of life with a top shelf lineup featuring:

Food, Wine, Craft Beer & Cocktails

Like the diverse and rich cultural mix that describes the City of Mountain View itself, the fabulously curated food offerings at this year’s Mountain View Art & Wine Festival, September 7-8 on Castro Street, will be a veritable melting pot of deliciousness.

Food & drink vendors include Pizza Lovers Sacaramento, Gourmet Faire,Curry Up Now, Dippin’ Dots,San Diablo Artisan Churros, Cousins Maine Lobster, Qvevri – Saperavi Qvevri , Qvevri – Kvareli, Elysian Space Dust, Kona Brewing Co. Big Wave, Golden Road, Local Motion Vodka Soda, Dr Hops Spiked Living Seltzer, Pathwater and Ghost Energy.

Live Music & Street Performers

The dynamite lineup features some of the Bay Area’s best bands playing a non-stop, wide-ranging musical mix on the PG&E Main Stage in Civic Center Plaza and all over the downtown area.

Artists include Bluehouse, Cisco Kid, The Megatones, Raging Introverts, The Hitmen, The Houserockers, and more. See the day-by-day concert lineup.

Collaborative Paint Temple + DJ Dancepark

At this year’s Mountain View Art & Wine Festival, September 7-8, Felix will bring an all-inclusive collaborative mobile ART TEMPLE experience for festival goers to express themselves in the “thinking and creating” format that he has developed doing hundreds of events around the world.

The ART TEMPLE will be located at the corner of Castro and Dana.

Joining forces with the EveryBodyCanPaint is Dancepark, a collective of artists, scientists, engineers, and DJs who have a passion for sharing music and bringing a feel-good vibe wherever they go.

This band of creative artists has built a devoted fan base around the Bay spinning house music, melodic house, and deep house.

The group’s one-of-a-kind Pacific Art Car, designed and themed in the form of Neptune’s Chariot, is their latest creative project.​

It’s 22 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 14 feet tall in the front section and is fashioned out of welded steel and adorned with art representing Neptune’s colorful world. It’s built on a trailer frame and is mobile and stable.

Community Talent Stage

Come watch local up-and-coming performers from around the area showcasing a wide range of performances from Musical Acts, Choreography, and more! We’ll have some of our favorite acts back again along with some new talent that we’ve discovered over the past year. See the day-by-day concert lineup.

Italian Street Painting

Throughout the two-day festival, California Street (between Castro and Hope) will become the canvas for a talented lineup of Madonnari (street painters) and festivalgoers will have an opportunity to experience this captivating and vibrant performance art with the cool Castro Street festival vibe as the backdrop.

Xfinity Pigskin Party Lounge

The Xfinity Pigskin Party Lounge, located at the intersection of Castro St and Mercy St, will be a place where festivalgoers can take a break and relax with friends while watching their favorite sporting events on a giant LED screen. Top that off with a tasty microbrew, glass or wine, sangria, or craft cocktail along with an array of fabulous choices from the food vendors nearby and you’ve got a slam dunk winner.

Kids Funzone

For an unforgettable weekend of excitement and the best family entertainment value around, head for the action-packed Kids Fun Zone at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival. The fun and games for youngsters of all ages are enthralling and endless!

Getting There / Parking

The festival takes place on Castro Street from El Camino Real to Evelyn Avenue in downtown Mountain View, California. Taking public transportation to the festival is strongly recommended.

Public Transportation: Caltrain, VTA Light Rail and Bus service drop you off at the Mountain View transit center, the primary festival entrance at Evelyn Avenue and Castro Street.

Vehicle Parking: Some free parking is available on streets and parking plazas surrounding the downtown area. Large free lots are located at:

  • 13 Bryant Street
  • 343 Bryant Street

​Paid parking ($20) will be available both days of the festival at these locations managed by KMVT volunteers as a fundraiser:

  • Lot 12 Bryant St… from Shoreline Blvd. turn south on California Street then right onto Bryant Street. Enter the parking lot on the right off Bryant Street.
  • Kaiser Permanente parking garage at 555 Castro Street … from El Camino Real go east on Calderon then left on Church Street then right on Hope Street. Enter the garage on Hope Street between Church and Mercy Streets.
  • 444 Castro Street parking garage at Swigg. from Shoreline Blvd. turn south on California Street then right onto Bryant Street. Enter the garage on Bryant Street.

Bicycle Parking: Avoid the traffic congestion and ride your bike. Free centrally located and highly visible bicycle parking will be offered near the corner of Castro and Church Streets thanks to Friends of Stevens Creek Trail. Please bring your own lock.
