How do you meet stress, pressure, connection, and change in your body?
Maybe you fold inward. Brace and hold. Reach out. Push beyond your limits.
In Postures in Life, you’ll explore four familiar physical patterns—collapse, contract, extend, and hyperextend—and notice how they show up in your dance and in your everyday life.
Through movement and the 5Rhythms® Wave, you’ll have space to feel these postures from the inside, move between them, and become more aware of how your body responds to different moments, relationships, and demands.
There is no “right” posture to achieve. Each one can carry different qualities depending on what is happening. The practice is about noticing, moving, and expanding your range.
