Where to Watch the Valkyries’ Potential Championship-Clinching Game 6 in the Bay Area
The Valkyries are one win away! Golden State leads the Atlanta Dream 3-2 in the WNBA Finals, making Thursday’s Game 6 a potential championship clincher. From Rikki’s to an outdoor rooftop screening at Salesforce Park, here’s where to start planning your watch party.
IMPORTANT TIME UPDATE: Game 6 on Thursday, October 29, has moved from 5 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. Pacific. The earlier start allows the game to take place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena before the Atlanta Hawks’ previously scheduled NBA game that evening. That’s a major change for Bay Area watch parties: we don’t yet know which bars will open early. Please contact venues directly before heading out.
Rikki’s: SF’s First Women’s Sports Bar
2223 Market St., San Francisco
A potential Valkyries championship deserves a room full of women’s sports fans, and Rikki’s, San Francisco’s first-ever women’s sports bar, belongs near the top of your list.
The bar is part of the official Valkyries Bar Network, but we haven’t verified its Game 6 morning opening. Check Rikki’s Instagram for updates or email hometeam@rikkisbarsf.com. Rikki’s is first come, first served and warns that big game days can reach capacity, so once opening details are announced, plan accordingly.
Salesforce Park: Free Outdoor Rooftop Watch Party
Main Plaza, Salesforce Park, San Francisco – FREE
Basketball, fresh air and a rooftop park above downtown SF? Salesforce Park offers a fun outdoor option for cheering on the Valkyries.
CONFIRMED! 9:30am! The park’s main event listing now shows the October 29 watch party from 9:30-11:30 a.m. An older summary on the same page still shows the original evening schedule, so check the official activities page for further updates before going.
Chase Center: Bring the Ballhalla Energy* (POSSIBLE, UNCONFIRMED)
Inside Chase Center, San Francisco – Game 6 listing pending
For the full arena experience, keep an eye on Chase Center’s official Finals watch parties presented by Kaiser Permanente. The Valkyries announced that these parties would take place inside the arena for all Finals away games.
The Game 4 listing advertised $25 tickets, with net proceeds benefiting the Golden State Community Foundation’s education and youth development work. It also specified that the game would not be shown in Thrive City.
IMPORANT – UNVERIFIED – As of October 27 at 9 a.m. Pacific, we hadn’t found an updated Game 6 watch-party listing on Chase Center’s website. We’re hoping it’s added, but any Game 6 tickets, pricing and morning entry details remain unconfirmed. Check Chase Center before making plans.
