Event Details

Are you up for helping clean up after naughty, trash-dropping tourists? Sure, some of the tasks of this event sound awfully green – like “planting trees” but personally i’d be scared of the “pick up litter” part of this event.

Join other volunteers and the San Francisco Department of Public Works to beautify our most popular tourists spots and neighborhoods, and help keep San Francisco a livable, vibrant, and sustainable city. Volunteers will plant trees, work on greening projects, remove weeds, paint out graffiti, and pick up litter. For students, all your volunteer work will accumulate your hours for Community Services.
