Project Homeless Connect is excited to announce our upcoming 78th Community Day of Service at the Bill Graham Auditorium, scheduled for May 10th. The Community Day of Service is an opportunity for people experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or simply needing service with compassion to receive care in a dignified setting.
For context, our Community Day of Service events have helped hundreds of participants access resources under one roof from over 40+ providers: including DMV, employment and public benefits assistance, dental and vision care, legal aid, veteran services, and expert medical attention.
In the face of such a complex issue as homelessness, the day is an inspiring look at what we can accomplish as a mobilized community of care. It is also a wonderfully impactful team-building opportunity. All of this is made possible by more than 400+ volunteers, with Morning (8:30 am to 12:30 pm), Afternoon (12:30 pm to 3:30 pm), and All-Day (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) shifts available.
