The Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco (DMV) announces its 81st Annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 18th at 2 pm at St Mark’s Church in San Francisco.

The 30 piece wind band performs regularly throughout the year in the San Francisco Bay Area, performing a variety of musical styles in many different venues, under the direction of Adrian Quince.

This special 81st Annual Spring Concert will feature a varied musical offering including the classical American piece “Appalachian Spring”, an historical and a modern German concert march, Halvorsen’s “Entry March of the Boyars”, selections from the Broadway musical “Annie”, sacred music from Mozart, selections of classic Frank Sinatra tunes, the whimsical “Champagne song” from Johann Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” Opera and Persichetti’s innovative “Pageant”.

Please join us for the concert at 2 pm followed by a pleasant community social hour featuring Prosecco and appetizers.
