Enjoy an ole fashion holiday time through the Victorian era and experience a tradition enjoyed by generations of families during the holidays: The Grand Victorian Homes Tour in the architectural historic district of Vallejo.

The grand homes date back to the early 1900s from elegant Queen Anne/Eastlake design (pictured) to Craftsman, French and Greek Revivals and Dutch Colonial (a nostalgic nod to the “New Amsterdam” of Peter Stuvyesant). The Tour highlights famed architect William A. Jones with several of his designs on the tour as well as his personal First Bay Tradition shingled designed home occupied by his granddaughter. From the festive Reception in the ballroom of the Vallejo Museum, built in 1927, to the After-party at one of the Officer’s mansions on Mare Island, currently Vino Godfather Winery, it is a wonderful way to celebrate a Victorian holiday.
