Enchantments & Spellwork through Poetics

The combination of artistic creativity through words, intentional arrangement of words and sounds, and rhythmic power make poetry a very powerful form of magic. As you write and recite poetry, you bring words to life, imprint them, and cast spells.

Learn how to work with “power” words to create mantras that adorn our spirits. Artist, healer, and poet angel ash will lead the group first by grounding in the space and offering a container to set powerful intentions before pulling guidance from the literary work, “Poetry as Spellcasting,” by Tamiko Beyer, Destiny Hempill & Lisbeth White.

They’ll use a specific practice from the book as a guide and lead the group through ritualistic charms by setting clear intentions with the world inside and outside of us (together and individually).

This workshop is donation-based and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. The suggested donation is $22. Poetry as Spellcasting will also be available for purchase!
