Portola’s Halloween celebration includes a 3-4 pm Haunted Hunt for ages 6-10 at Portola Library, followed by neighborhood trick-or-treating from 5-8 pm along Somerset, Burrows, and Bacon streets. The evening concludes with the free Spooky Garden Reverie at the Green Between from 6-10 pm, featuring lit pathways, DJ Antitdope, seasonal treats, and El Fuego food truck service. Live music, a Rocky Horror projection, hot cider, full-size candy bars, a photo booth, and a Jack & Sally photo spot.

Trick-or-Treating is back in the Portola! This Halloween, The Portola is hopping, from Spooky Garden Reverie to Trick or Treating in the neighborhood.3-4pm: Haunted Hunt at the Portola Library
5-8pm: Trick-or-Treating along Somerset, Burrows, and Bacon, ending at the Green Between at Burrows x San Bruno.
6-10pm: Taco Truck Dinner at the Green Between

Spooky Garden Reverie
Lit pathways, music, food & treats at the end of Burrows Street.Step into the Green Between garden transformed for Halloween. Spooky lights glow along the paths, festive music by DJ Antitdope fills the air, and seasonal treats wait around every corner. Hungry? El Fuego will be serving up authentic Mexican all night. Come in costume or come as you are. Little ghouls, grown-up goblins, and everyone in between are welcome.
Spooky Garden Reverie is a free, all-ages celebration brought to you by the Portola Neighborhood Association in partnership with Family Connection Centers, made possible by a grant from the Civic Joy Fund. It’s a chance to gather with neighbors, make some memories, and enjoy the Garden District at its most enchanting (and, perhaps, a little eerie).
Admission is free. Donations are encouraged and help us keep community events like this one going for the whole neighborhood._
