The New Parkway, a cool community theater in Oakland with couches and quirky seating, a beer and wine license, and a full food menu, celebrates their one year anniversary by showing movies for just $1 all day.

- 2:25 pm: Ender’s Game
- 3:20 pm: 12 Years A Slave
- 4:50 pm: Rush
- 6:00 pm: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) – Santa is captured by the Martians because there’s no one on Mars to give presents to their children. A terrible B-movie from 1964 that gets a pathetic 2.8/10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
