Square dancing is walking at a steady pace to a called pattern with musical accompaniment. It combines mental concentration with many aspects of good physical exercise. The pattern involves 8 dancers turning and interacting with hands and arms in response to changing choreography. The benefits of square dancing are many…live years longer, improves flexibility, balance and coordination and make new friends.
We are delighted that Jim Osborne is our club caller. He calls and sings over recorded country and western music and has a great sense of humor. Dress is casual and light snacks are served. No experience or partner are required; just come on down for a fun time.
