Event Details

The Ruth Bancroft Garden and San Francisco’s Sogestsu School of Ikebana are proud to present this unusual exhibition of large-scale works that will incorporate plant materials from the Garden itself and be on display throughout in this first-ever wholly outdoor ikebana exhibit at the Garden. The exhibit will display the works of nine principal artists from the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch.

Schedule

Tuesday May 18th, 10am – 4pm: Artists will be installing their ikebana works on throughout the day. The public is welcome to come observe the installation process but we ask that you please not disturb the artists as they work.

Wednesday May 19th – Sunday May 23rd: Open during normal Garden hours, 10am – 4pm
