Event Details

The beautiful and acclaimed pianist Ria Carlo will perform a program of classical music in the Cadillac Hotel lobby—home to a rare 1884 Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano—just weeks before her Carnegie Hall debut.

Ms. Carlo will be sprinkling her program with some biographical sketches that will inspire people and help put the music into context. She will be playing a program with works by Handel, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Scriabin, and Barber. We will have coffee and refreshments after the performance, and you’ll have a chance to speak with Miss Carlo.

Educated at the New England Conservatory, Harvard, Princeton and Cambridge, Ms. Carlo will debut at Carnegie Hall on April 11th. She is the 2010 winner of the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition.
