Accordion serenades and aura readings based on perfume preferences? Expect the unexpected as the Contemporary Jewish Museum hosts the second in a series of MILTONs – conceptual spaces for whimsy and exchange developed by artist Maira Kalman whose solo exhibition Maira Kalman: Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World) is currently on view.
It’s an evening to revel in the senses as writer Daniel Handler aka Lemony Snicket entertains the ears on his accordion, and renowned perfumer Yosh Han, who specializes in artisanal fragrances and vibrational perfumery, offers intuitive insights about your personality based on the inclinations of the nose. Come with questions about love, money and creativity and find out why Madonna, Alanis Morissette and more are fans.
Sign-ups for scent readings with Han are available on a first come first served basis that night.
