African Arts Festival: Traditional Dance & Music | McLaren Park

Live From the AMP is proud to welcome the Duniya Dance & Drum Company’s African Arts Festival back on stage on September 29th with the dancers and musicians performing the traditional dance and music of West Africa at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. The show is from 11 am to 4 pm with a stunning array of song, dance and music.

Duniya Dance & Drum Company’s mission is “To cultivate respect for traditional forms, foster cultural exchange, effect social justice and engage in community building, Duniya performs and teaches traditional and innovative performance pieces from Guinea, West Africa and Punjab, India.”

Come and experience a musical afternoon African music.

Plenty of free parking. ADA Parking (Limited) – Take the 29 Muni to Shelley Drive East off of Mansell Street. The JG Amphitheater’s Address is 50 John F Shelley Drive for Taxi/Uber/Lyft drop-off/pick-up.
