Coming up next in Airbnb’s Tech Talks is a series of talks focused on growth.
The first talk in this series is by Airbnb’s Jimmy & Gustaf. They’ll be talking about Referrals, which accounts for up to 30% of growth in certain markets. They launched Referrals in January on all three platforms: the website, Android app, and their iOS app, allowing users both to send and redeem referrals.
In this talk, they’ll dive into the details of why they decided to build out Referrals, how they built it and the effect it have had on their growth trajectory. They’ll walk you through in-depth learnings and tips that they’ve acquired along the way. Finally, they’ll share what they’re working on now.
