The Sharing Economy with Airbnb & Getaround
Tuesday, June 24, 2014 | 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Forio | 20 Rausch St, San Francisco, CA
Free, but an RSVP is required

The sharing economy or peer economy, is a system built around sharing items; access trumps ownership. People are sharing spaces, rooms, apartments, cars, and stuff in general. Thanks to technology, costs have been reduced all around, making the sharing economy easier and more accessible than ever.

“In these lightning talks, we will learn from some of the companies and organizations working in the sharing space. We will learn about the industries they’re disrupting and the impact of the sharing economy as a whole in society, where they see the movement growing and some of the roadblocks along the way.”
