The crew known as Mashrou’ Leila hail from the far off land of Lebanon (you can Google it). They infuse the culture and sound of their homeland with contemporary rock and pop styles. Their penchant for storytelling comes through in every song, as they croon about lovesick Casanovas, quirky characters, and ghost towns. Mashrou’ Leila have been heard all around the world and now they’ll be laying some tunes at the Great American Music Hall.
If you’re in the mood for acoustic, soulful rock with a World-folk edge, then Mashrou’ Leila is the band for you.
