This is the first “American Tripps” Berlin-style ping pong party in Downtown San Francisco, and it’s in the historic SF Chronicle Building. There will be beer. There will be upbeat music. There will be girls. There will be boys. Fun will be had.
What’s Berlin-style ping pong?
20 or 30 people around a table, each with their own paddle; first person serves it, person across the table returns it, and everyone moves clockwise around the table like in a conga line, taking turns in the hot seats. You mess up, you’re out, and by the end, three or four people are sprinting ’round the table in an effort to make it to the finals.
