On Saturday, May 16, Budist will release the 2025 California Harvest Report at a public gathering hosted at the Berkeley Chapel of the Flowers, presented in partnership with the Cannabis Buyers’ Club of Berkeley (CBCB).
Building on last year’s inaugural report, this event brings together the public, trade, and media to explore the agricultural heritage of California cannabis and the distinct qualities that define its most important growing regions.
Spanning seven counties—Humboldt, Mendocino, Trinity, Nevada, Lake, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma—the Harvest Report highlights a diverse cross-section of farms and producers, with a focus on cultivation practices, terroir, and regional expression.
This event is open to both seasoned connoisseurs and those newer to cannabis who are interested in exploring different regions, cultivars, and cultivation practices. We welcome retailers, buyers, and budtenders looking for a clearer sense of how regions differ and how to navigate the range of producers across the state. By bringing these regions together in one place, the goal is to build a deeper appreciation for origin and appellation, while recognizing the legacy regions and cultivators that continue to define California cannabis.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees will have the opportunity to meet farmers, explore regional diversity, and take part in guided tastings and community discussions that deepen awareness and appreciation of California’s agricultural heritage.
