Kaiser Permanente and the Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC) are once again teaming up to present the Family Health & Fitness Day, a free, fun-filled day celebrating health, nutrition and exercise on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
The annual event typically draws more than 2,000 people and offers a variety of entertaining activities that support healthy lifestyles.
2014 activities include:
- Crafts with The Home Depot
- Free Teddy Bears and water bottles (while supplies last)
- Free Teddy Bear checkups by Kaiser Permanente doctors at the popular Teddy Bear Clinic.
- Engaging fitness-themed games and activities such as Bollywood dance, Family Zumba, and gymnastics.
- Children ID cards issued by Foster City police
- Healthy cooking demonstrations by PJCC Nutrition & Wellness Coach/Certified Chef Jeannie Solomon
- Plus Jump House, Family Gym, and much more
Food Trucks will offer refreshments for sale from 11 am to 3 pm.
