BASH is hosting a Sacred Harp Singing School taught by visiting singer Lauren Bock. Learn more about the tradition and practice and join in the song.
Appropriate for those new to Sacred Harp as well as experienced singers. Spend time learning and singing.
Lauren Bock is a music educator living in Decatur, Georgia. She has been singing Sacred Harp since 2005 and has taught numerous singing schools, including sessions at Camp Fasola and Camp Fasola Europe. She holds a degree in music and education from Hampshire College.
This event is free and open to the public (donations accepted). Wheelchair accessible. All are welcome.
